Operation Windhund: full mission list, rewards, and strategy
Operation Windhund is the first Operation in Personal Missions 3.0. It stress-tests damage, survivability, vision, and stuns across three branches you can progress in parallel: Vanguard (heavies and armored TDs), Ambush (mobile mediums and lights), and Assistance (lights and SPGs).

How Windhund is organized
- Vanguard: heavies and TDs — blocked damage, trades, and blunt map control.
- Ambush: mediums and lights — mobility, accuracy, and picking isolated targets.
- Assistance: lights and SPGs — spotting, tracking, and stun-assisted damage.
If one branch hits a bad map rotation, switch queues instead of slamming the same choke mission for three hours.
Vanguard missions (heavies & TDs)
Vehicle rules: Queue heavy tanks or tank destroyers that can trade HP, sidescrape, or hold a lane. Paper TDs only work when a mission is pure DPM and the map actually hands you shots.
Vanguard is where you learn whether your armor habits are real or cosplay. Prioritize missions with OR clauses: blocked-damage routes rescue games where the enemy refuses to shoot your hull.

Vanguard strategy
- Garage anchors: XIS-7, XObject 277, XMaus, XType 5 Heavy.
- TD flex: XObject 268 Version 4, XT110E3, XGrille 15.
- Equipment: Gun Rammer + Vertical Stabilizer + third slot flex (Improved Hardening, Turbocharger, or Improved Rotation depending on mission).
- Consumables: Large repair / large med / firefighting or food when you can afford the risk.
Ambush missions (mediums & lights)
Tempo tip: Ambush missions punish greedy pushes. Play second line until you see where the free damage is, then sprint for cleanup.
These tasks care about accuracy streaks, XP leadership, and damage while unspotted. Pick comfortable gun handling and vision you can trust.

Ambush strategy
- Mediums: XObject 140, XLeopard 1, XSTB-1, Progetto M40 mod 65 (no contour in Boost Hub manifest).
- Lights: VIIIELC EVEN 90, XT-100 LT, XAMX 13 105.
- Equipment: Gun Rammer + Vertical Stabilizer + Coated Optics (or vision equipment on spotting-heavy missions).
Assistance missions (lights & SPGs)
Class split: Rotate between active lights (spotting, tracking) and SPGs (stun volume). Trying to brute-force every Assistance task in one class wastes hours.
Assistance is the playmaker lane: you set damage for others, immobilize pushes, or stack stuns. Queue discipline matters more than raw aim.

- A-13: Tank Sniper — accuracy and target selection over yolo.
- A-15 / AS-15: Huge damage or combined assist totals — use reserves on fresh sessions.
Suggested grind order
- Clear every Easy mission for quick currency.
- Finish one Series end-to-end if you want a specific reward piece; otherwise rotate branches to avoid burnout.
- Bank Personal Reserves for Hard / Very hard gates.
- Attempt medal missions when you are rested — tilt turns them into coin flips.
