Operation Black Rock: mission tables, double-completion rules, and strategy
Operation Black Rock is the capstone of Personal Missions 3.0. In each Series, missions 1–10 must be completed twice on two different vehicles; missions 11–15 are once each and usually decide whether you keep your sanity.
This guide lists every objective with editorial difficulty bands, credit/bond payouts, and garage picks. Always verify exact text, timers, and OR-options in the in-game client — your region’s build is the source of truth.

Vanguard — heavy pressure and armor mastery
Vanguard in Black Rock rewards lane control, blocked damage, and early tempo. Bring heavies or high-alpha TDs you can actually play twice without griefing your stats.

Vanguard strategy
- Heavies: XMaus, XType 5 Heavy, XObject 705A, XIS-7, XObject 277.
- Tank destroyers: XObject 268 Version 4, XT110E3.
- Equipment: Improved Hardening / Turbocharger / Improved Rotation Modification + Gun Rammer on brawlers; TDs often run Rammer plus gun handling (IRM or GLD) depending on aim time.

Ambush — precision, vision, first strike
Ambush lines punish sloppy exposure. You want gun handling, camo discipline, and a plan for long lanes where you can stack damage without trading back.

Ambush strategy
- Mediums: XLeopard 1, XSTB-1, XObject 140, Progetto M40 mod 65.
- Lights: XPanhard EBR 105, XT-100 LT.
- Equipment: Coated Optics or Low Noise Exhaust System + Vertical Stabilizer + Gun Rammer on most setups; swap exhaust for commander's vision gear on vision-stack missions.
Assistance — scouting, stuns, hybrid support
Assistance mixes active lights with SPG stun volume. Survival and information timing matter more than chasing meaningless damage.

Assistance strategy
- Lights: XPanhard EBR 105, XT-100 LT, XAMX 13 105.
- SPGs: XM53/M55 (no verified WG-DB slug in our pipeline), XObject 261, Conqueror Gun Carrier.
- Equipment: Lights — optics / exhaust / stabilizer flex; SPGs — Gun Rammer, GLD, and crew skills that tighten stun windows (e.g. Intuition where you run it).
AS-5 reminder: Triple-stun wording varies by patch — read the tooltip literally before you commit a session.
Routing, vehicle pairs, and consumables
- Progression order: Finish missions 1–10 in complementary pairs (brawler + pocket heavy, sniper medium + camo medium) so the double-vehicle rule never traps you in one playstyle.
- Garage depth: Aim for at least two eligible tanks per branch before you hard-push Black Rock — rerolling the same chassis twice in a row burns morale.
- Consumables: Large Repair Kit and Large First Aid Kit buy back mistakes on 11–15; food is optional once you are comfortable throwing credits at variance.
