Dota 2 experience
Experience - is an essential part of most online games. In Dota 2, it is also present, both directly in the match and in the form of a system of account levels. In this article, we will take a closer look at the process of gaining experience in Dota 2, as well as what it affects.
Experience is an important element of a match in Dota 2. With experience, your hero can level up, increasing his stats and gaining access to new abilities or talents. At the beginning of the game, all characters start with level one and one ability point. By earning experience from killing creeps and heroes, controlling outposts, and using the Hand of Midas or Tome of Knowledge, you can level up your character up to level 30.
To earn experience in Dota, you don't have to personally kill a hero or a creep, but just be within the radius of its receipt - 1300 units from the killed creature. In this case, experience is distributed evenly between all allied heroes that are in a radius next to the killed creature.
Experience is also used in the account level system. The account level in Dota 2 is a kind of indicator of your achievements and depends on the number of trophies. To get the trophy, you just need to play matches, complete challenges and participate in various events that appear in Dota.
You can view the collection of trophies in your profile -> Trophies tab. For obtaining or improving a trophy, a certain number of trophy points are credited to your account. 100 points allow you to raise one level of your Dota 2 account. With each new level, new level icons will appear in your profile - from Iron Branch to Divine Rapier. However, if you have a low level - don't worry, now it doesn't affect anything. For example, in order to open access to rating matchmaking, it is enough to spend 100 hours in Dota, regardless of the level at hand.
